Tornadoes cause damage in Oklahoma City

A powerful system that strikes the central U.S. region, Sunday destroyed mobile home lot. Storms moving between Texas and Minnesota
 

One of several tornadoes caused by a powerful storm system sweeping plains and north of the north central region of the United States , destroyed several mobile homes Sunday in an area southeast of Oklahoma City.
The phenomenon trailer homes reduced to rubble and caused the frightened residents fleeing for cover along a corridor of 160 km, while storms move from Texas to Minnesota .

At least four separate tornadoes hit Oklahoma on Sunday afternoon, including one that destroyed the trailer park Shawnee, about 56 miles southeast of Oklahoma City .
So far there have been confirmed reports of injuries at this site, as access was complicated because Interstate 40 was closed because it turned articulated trucks stood in the way.

"I knew it was coming," said Randy Grau, who fled with his wife and two young children in the safe room of his house in Edmond when the tornado came. Grau looked out the window when the weather worsened and he thought he saw a flock flying down the street.
"But I realized it was rubble spinning. Was when we close the door of the safe room," said Grau, adding that he remained there about 10 minutes.
