Heartburn / GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease)

Heartburn is a painful burning sensation that occurs in the esophagus. The pain often rises in the chest and may radiate to the neck or throat.
The most common symptoms of acidity are:
  • Feeling that food can get trapped behind the breastbone
  • Burning pain in the chest that increases stooping, bending or eat
  • Nausea after eating
Other less common symptoms are:
  • Cough
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Hiccup
  • Hoarseness
  • Regurgitation of food
  • Sore throat

Allergies

Symptoms of allergies can be identified as mild, moderate and severe.
Mild symptoms: (These symptoms generally do not spread to other parts of the body)
  • Rash
  • Itchy watery eyes
  • Congestion
Moderate symptoms: (These allergic reactions can spread to other parts of the body)
  • Itch
  • Shortness of breath
Severe symptoms:
  • Abdominal pain
  • Swelling that may cause difficulty breathing or swallowing
  • Cramps
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Vertigo

High Blood Pressure

Cholesterol

High cholesterol does not show any symptoms, however, a blood test can detect it. Too much cholesterol in the blood causes the occurrence of plaques in the arterial walls can tighten them or to obstruct them. High levels of cholesterol increase the risk of heart disease.

Depression

Depression is a serious medical illness affecting the brain. Feeling depressed about a loss, daily problems or low self esteem is a normal reaction. However, when these feelings are overwhelming and last for long periods of time and do not disappear interfere with daily life.

  • Feeling sad and crying spells have often

Heart Disease

Each type of heart disease has different symptoms, although many heart problems have similar warning signals. Symptoms depend on the type and severity of the heart condition. The most common symptom is angina described as pain, pressure, discomfort in the chest. It can be mistaken for indigestion or heartburn.
